At Saifiyah Higher Secondary School, pupils from Grades 1 to 6 recently undertook the XSEED Learnometer – an innovative and research-backed assessment designed to move beyond conventional testing. Unlike traditional exams that focus primarily on memory and repetition, the Learnometer is aimed at evaluating a child’s ability to think critically, apply concepts, and approach real-life challenges with reasoning. 🧠📖
What is Learnometer?
The XSEED Learnometer is a comprehensive assessment tool that helps measure and improve learning outcomes for students. It provides detailed insights into each student’s progress and areas for improvement.
What Makes the Learnometer Unique?
The Learnometer shifts the focus from rote memorisation to conceptual understanding and real-world application.
Instead of “What is…?” type questions, students face scenarios that ask them to apply what they have learnt in new situations.
Every question is framed to encourage analysis, logical connections, and decision-making.
It measures essential 21st-century skills such as problem-solving, collaboration, comprehension, and communication, giving a much richer picture of student ability.
